I started this book ten years ago and then walked away, thinking my life was too busy to be a writer. But the story beckoned me, the characters continued to whisper in my ear, and scenes wouldn't leave my mind. The story begged to be written. The journey pleaded to be told.

With a background in marketing, business, wellness, and spirituality, perhaps pieces of my own path are littered throughout the book. A lifetime of lessons. Today I live with my amazing husband and two cats in northern CA. I’m inspired by the smallest of things. A butterfly. A neighbor smiling as they walk by or the way the leaves sparkle in the wind. I see the horror of humanity, but I see the beauty too. And it’s the extreme dark and light that has inspired my writing, as I love and grasp it all.
